About our Teachers

Our classes are taught by highly experienced Spanish classroom teachers.  The teachers create a fun and productive learning environment where the children have an opportunity to establish basic language and beginning conversational skills.  The teachers incorporate games, role play, music and various other activities to build and maintain your child’s enthusiasm for learning a new language. The teachers implement a positive reward based classroom management style where the children may earn Euro stamps to shop at our monthly “Market Day”. We have a skilled and enthusiastic staff!


Meet our Teachers

Marilyn Milley: Director, Spanish teacher
Mrs. Milley has over 25 years of elementary classroom teaching experience. She obtained her Bachelors Degree in Elementary and Special Education at the University of Delaware and a Masters Degree in Education Administration at George Washington University. Mrs. Milley specialized in Spanish and studied for a year abroad in Madrid, Spain. For several years following graduation, Marilyn taught elementary school in the American School of Barcelona. She later obtained a certification in Spanish and ESOL while teaching in Washington, DC. Marilyn Milley established and developed the Spanish Now ASP in 2005 and is thrilled to see the continued positive growth each year!

 

Suzanne Viera: Spanish teacher
Mrs. Viera was born and raised in Maracay, Venezuela. She moved to the United States in 1991 and earned her Masters in Civil Engineering at Georgia Tech. After staying at home for many years with her young children, Mrs. Viera joined the work force in Education. She began teaching at Mt. Zion Preschool in 2002. Suzanne started as an assistant teacher and is now a full time lead Spanish teacher for the school. Mrs. Viera has had the opportunity to work with all age preschool and kindergarten age children during her time at Mt. Zion. She has her own curriculum at Mt. Zion. In addition, Mrs. Viera also began working with our program in 2005. She is instrumental in curriculum writing administration and the organization of the Spanish Now ASP.

 

Teresita Pachano: Spanish teacher
Mrs. Pachano was born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela. She obtained her advanced degree in Architecture from the Rafael Urdaneta University in Venezuela, in 1988. She moved to the United States in 1990, stayed at home with her children and began teaching in 1998. Mrs. Pachano has years of teaching experience in Marietta, GA with preschool and elementary age children. She has been an instructor at Mt. Zion Preschool, Holy Spirit Catholic School, and is currently teaching at St. Catherine Preschool, Mt. Bethel Christian Academy and with our Spanish Now ASP. She began teaching with our program in 2006. Ms. Teresita has written curriculum, created numerous songs and games for our classes.

 

Martha Williams: Spanish teacher
Mrs. Williams has had many years of experience teaching and working in education. Martha received her Bachelor of Science degree from Auburn University in Business Administration with a minor in Spanish. She is currently working towards a degree in Foreign Language Education. Mrs. Williams has had experience teaching as an elementary and Spanish private tutor at Whitefield Academy and was also a teacher at Woodley Baptist preschool. She has also had the experience as a director of Young Life programs, Walton Camp programs and Arts in Education. Martha began teaching Spanish with our program in 2006. She brings her gift of music, art and creativity to our classes to enrich the Spanish content.

 

Araceli Garza: Spanish teacher
Mrs. Araceli Garza was born , raised and educated in Mexico City. She has her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and moved, with her family, to the United States in 2000. She is fluent in the English and Spanish languages. Araceli has been part of our team since the fall of 2010. We are thrilled to have her with MKM Education: Spanish Now ASP!

Mrs. Garza has been a classroom and small group teacher for 11 years and has had a variety of experiences working in education and administration. Araceli is a true asset to our language education group. She is a creative, effective and enthusiastic teacher. Araceli maintains excellent classroom management skills which focus on positive behavior modification. She is able to involve the children in various Spanish educational activities throughout her lessons in a nurturing and productive way.


Christina Britt:
Spanish teacher

Mrs. Britt was born and raised in Miami, Florida where she was fortunate enough to grow up immersed in the Spanish language and culture-her exposure to Spanish speakers began at a very young age and continued throughout her formative years. She graduated from the University of Florida, in 1992, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Speech and Language Pathology and Audiology. After working in the mental health care field for several years, she attended Graduate school at the University of South Florida, where she studied Gerontology. Her husband's career afforded her exciting opportunities to move around the country and be a dedicated stay-at-home mom to her 3 children, before settling in Georgia. In 2014, she began working for our program as a Monitor and substitute teacher. She made the transition to teaching in 2015, and has enjoyed it immensely. Mrs. Britt brings the elements of enthusiasm, humor, and creativity to the classroom in an effort to ignite a spark in the learning process through games, song, art and role play.

 


Mariana Nudelman:
Spanish teacher

Mrs. Nudelman was born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina where her extended family lives. She attended college at the University of Buenos Aires and graduated with a degree in Computer Science. She was a professor at the University of Buenos Aires for 5 years. She worked as a Business Analyst in Buenos Aires and in Tennessee where she lived for over 10 years. In 2009 she moved to Atlanta. She started to work as a Spanish teacher for Spanish Now ASP in 2013. She enjoys working with children and specially teaching Spanish. She believes that learning a second language will help them in life.


Eliana Burke:
Spanish teacher

Mrs. Burke was born and raised in Mendoza, Argentina. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. In 2002 her husband’s job brought them back to his native country. Since then, they have lived in Marietta, where she stayed home raising their two boys during their earlier years. As a family, they spend their summers in Latin America as a way to expose their boys to the invaluable experience of both cultures and languages. This perspective led her to join the MKM team with the conviction that languages are increasingly important in our world today.

 

 


Ade Bianchi Galarza:
Spanish teacher

Mrs. Galarza was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. In 1997 she moved to Atlanta for the first time because of her husband's job. They lived here for 4 years. During that period she received her Commercial Photography Diploma earning the Honor Diploma of the Class at the Art Institute of Atlanta. In 2001 they moved back to Buenos Aires only to moved back out to Brazil, Sao Paulo shortly after. They lived there for 6 years. In 2008, they came back to Atlanta. Since then she have been working back with children. She started working with the After School Spanish Program for some time and later went to work full time at Mt. Bethel Christian Academy Preschool where she worked until May 2017. After her three children left for college she went back to Photography School but really miss the teaching. So she is really excited to be back working in Spanish Now ASP. She loves working with kids. There is no better reward for her than listening to the students learn and use the words she teaches them. She really likes teaching her native language.

 


Monica Aldrete:
Spanish teacher

Mrs. Aldrete was born and raised in Cuernavaca, México.
She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from "Tecnológico de Monterrey" in México.
In 2008 she moved with her family to Sao Paulo, Brazil where she had the opportunity to learn Portuguese. Her husband’s job brought them to the United States in 2010. Since then she has been working as a Spanish substitute teacher  in different schools. She has two girls and now that they are older, she is very happy to join Spanish Now ASP as a regular teacher.
She is a true believer that learning any foreign language is a gift that can open many doors in our children future.

 


Matty Marchant:
Spanish teacher

Mrs. Matty was born in Chile where she obtained her bachelor’s Degree in Education, specializing in
Early Childhood Education at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. She also earned her Post
Graduate Diploma in Educational Psychology and Language Skills from Universidad Central de Chile.

She moved with her family to Madrid, Spain, where she lived for 5 years and obtained a Master’s
Degree in Quality and Improvement of Education with the specialization on Change Management
and Leadership from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid.

Her passion about education and teaching has brought her to work in different sociocultural
environments for more than 15 years.

Her experience has been focused mainly with young children as a preschool and elementary teacher.

Also, as a team leader in the development and implementation of educational programs in different
schools and organizations.

In her free time, she enjoys riding her bike, swimming, dancing and traveling.
